The German Football Federation (DFB) revealed on Monday that it will debut the goal-line technology in the final of the German Cup on 30 May, between Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg.
At the end of last year was marked by a controversial bid in which Dante will be diverted, inside the goal a ball headed by Mats Hummels. Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0.
“This will be a historic game”, welcomed Helmut Sandrock, secretary general of the DFB. The technology should also be used in the German Super Cup in August, and the next edition of the Bundesliga.
