The GLT system (goal-line technology) will be used in the final of the League Cup, scheduled for May 29 and will oppose Benfica Marítimo.
The information was released by the League Clubs and this is a first in Portuguese football, since it will be the first time that the referee can through technological means to confirm whether or not the ball has entered fully into the net.
It is an innovation in Portuguese football and the League passed the message that the goal is to introduce other means in the coming seasons.
