The US National Road Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently presented a technology that prevent the car start if it detects that the driver is under the influence of alcohol .
This technology, named Driver Alcohol Detection System for Safety (DADSS) is an experimental stage and can work in two ways: with a breath tester discrete (ie a sensor ), on the steering wheel or the driver’s door to evaluate the driver’s alcohol level (even if it does not “blow” in the sensor) or so a s Touch ensor that will assess the level of alcohol in the blood .
