8M Participações, B2W acquires technology company … Sieve – R7

SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Lojas Americanas announced the acquisition by 8M Participações, a subsidiary of e-commerce company B2W, the Brazil Technology Group Sieve technology company, according to a statement sent to the market on Tuesday night.

The Sieve was owned by Usina Internet Group, controlled by ACP Investments (Arpex), whose partners Jorge Paulo Lemann, Marcel Telles and Carlos Alberto Sicupira, among others.

The price of business is 88.6 million, plus the equivalent in reais to the value of 13.8 million dollars, part paid in cash and the term of, the company.

Founded in 2010, with offices in Sao Paulo, a Sieve operates in the segment of price intelligence, data monitoring and dynamic pricing for e-commerce.

B2W owns the brands Americanas.com and Submarino, among others.
