If you have a good idea of design that uses technology to impact the quality of life of São Paulo, you can put it into practice with the help of the Municipality of São Paulo and earn up to 25 thousand dollars in grants.
The support will be done through the Municipal Development, Labour and Entrepreneurship (SDTE) and its VaiTEC Program (Technology Initiatives Enhancement Program), which is open for registrations. Created in partnership with the São Paulo Development Agency (ADE SAMPA), the initiative will fund the best proposals of products, applications, games, techniques or methodologies that bring benefits to the population.
The best ideas will receive up to 25 thousand dollars and the winners will have one year to put the project into practice. According to the city council, the program has 1.5 million dollars
The projects are separated by the following themes:. Environmental, social, education, health, social economy, sports, culture and urban mobility. Ideas as rainwater reuse, reduce traffic accidents and prevention of childhood obesity are examples of innovative subjects accepted the program.
To participate in the VaiTEC you must have from 14 years of age and reside in São Paulo for at least two years. Each registered person may propose up to five different ideas -. However, it can be awarded only once
Applicants must submit their projects by April 30 in the ADE Sampa site. Those who fall in the micro billing can also apply.
