Week of Science and Technology IFS will start on 13 … – Globo.com

Between the 13th and 17th of October, the Federal Institute of Sergipe (IFS) will hold the National Week of Science and Technology (SNCT). The event will be held at the Convention Center of Sergipe, Aracaju, and aims to mobilize people around issues and science and technology activities, promoting discussions and exchange of experiences and knowledge on the establishment of relations between science, technology and social development

During the week three events will be held: the First Week of Technological Extension IFS;. the III Congress of Scientific Initiation; and III Science Fair Convention IFS / Petrobras. Various activities will be developed, such as lectures and science exhibitions, presentation of papers, short courses and workshops technological extension.

Entries are free and to participate (listener / presenters) is required to access the system Publications IFS, complete the registration and then perform the registration for the event SNCT / SEMEXT. Once registered in the week, the listener can subscribe to events SNCT until October 3 and in the SEMEXT days between September 24 and October 15.

The submission of proposal for the presentation of work in SNCT (article / poster) may be held until October 3 and the SEMEXT (article / poster / short course / workshop) until September 21

14/10: III Science Fair Convention IFS / Petrobras – 8:30 am (Opening) at 12pm / 14 to 18h />

16 and 17/10: First Week Extension IFS (SEMEXT) – 14h to 18h
