Volvo unveiled on Tuesday (7) is working on a technology that promises to shift the car of impending collisions. Called Non-Hit Car and Truck, the appeal will be finalized in December, after four years of development-and is one of the factors that will make the company achieve its goal of registering no fatalities or serious injuries in a new Volvo from in 2020.

According to the Swedish brand, “one of the challenges of the project was to build a cohesive detection system, installed with a few discreet sensors around the car, something that has never been done before.” The system is also comprised of cameras, radars by waves, laser radar and GPS, which generate a 360 ° environment. Basically, the technology monitors the surroundings of the car constantly and promises to see something that may not see the driver, braking and swerving the vehicle if you notice any threat of collision.
