Web Summit: the Organisation registers 7.787 Portuguese participants – FROG 24

Between 07 and 10 November are going to be in Lisbon the representatives of 166 countries, territories and regions, with the organization of the account until the time 7.787 Portuguese, in a list that still includes 7.486 registration of the United Kingdom, 4.175 of Germany and 4.058 of Ireland.

The United States are expected 3.764 participants, while the number of French should exceed 2,000 (in 2007).

The 'top' of the main nationalities include the Netherlands (1.942), Poland (1.314), Denmark (1.275), Switzerland (1.253), Spain (1.155) and Italy (1.126).

Among the Portuguese-speaking countries include Brazil (627), Mozambique (26) Angola (24), Cape Verde (4), and Sao Tome and Principe (2).

Currently, the list ensures that none of the nationalities will have only one representative, by that count-if two people from remote locations, in relation to Portugal, such as Burkina Faso, Kyrgyzstan, Falkland islands, Mongolia, Antarctica, or Syria.

The Web Summit is a global conference on technology, innovation and entrepreneurship that will take place this year in Lisbon (and in the following two years, with possibility of two more years), where they are welcomed more than 50,000 participants from over 165 countries, including more than 20,000 companies, up to 7,000 presidents, 700 investors and 2,000 international journalists.

Among the speakers will be the founders and executive officers of the largest technology companies, as well as important personalities from the areas of sport, fashion and music.
