THE VII, State Fair of Science, Technology and Innovation opens this Monday (17), in the Center of Events, Ismael Nery, Fundação Cultural do Pará (FCP), in Bethlehem. The event has the goal of mobilizing children and young people around topics and activities of science and technology, enhancing creativity, scientific attitude and innovation. The fair goes until Wednesday (19).
The State University of Pará (Uepa) participating in the fair with the Science Center and Planetarium of the state of Pará, which in a booth will make experiments, and interactive materials. The centre will also have the Planetarium Mobile for elementary school students.
"this year’s theme, ‘the science aimentando Brazil’ will lead us to explain the chemical elements of foods, their composition and their evolution along the human species. We intend to direct our exhibition with a focus on the mission of the Planetarium, which is the popularization of science," says the board of the Planetarium, Sinaida Vasconcelos.

The fair is part of the National Week of Science and Technology 2016, which occurs from 17 to 23 October, with activities across the country. In Bethlehem, the fair is held in the Events Centre of the FCP, located in av. Gentil Bittencourt, 650, 1° floor.
