Until this Friday (28), the Institute of Technology and Research of the State of Sergipe (ITPS) conducts activities allusive to the National Week of Science and Technology. The event began on Monday (17) and is coordinated by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations, and Communications (the MINISTRY) and brings the theme 'Science Feeding the Brazil'.
The actions at the headquarters of the ITPS happen until the 21st with visits to laboratories and to the Memory Center of Science and Technology of Sergipe, brazil. The main goal is to mobilize the population, especially children and young people around the science.
"Our main target are the young people because we want to encourage contact with the world of researchers and to encourage the choice of careers that contribute to the development of the country", explains the managing director of ITPS, Léo Araújo.
Until the day 21, the ITPS receives students from public and private schools for lectures on the activities in the area of research and visits to laboratories and to the Memory Center of Science and Technology of Sergipe, brazil. From 24 to 27 October, the talks are going to happen in some schools in the capital and the interior.
Already on the 28th of October, the actions will focus on Fair Scientific of Sergipe, an event that will be held by the Foundation of Support to Research and Technological Innovation of the State of Sergipe (Fapitec) in the Centre of the Experience of the UFS with booths of various science and technology institutions of the State.
