Cai share of producer who wants to invest in technology, says Fiesp – Globo.com

The quarterly survey Agribusiness Confidence Index, measured by the Federation of São Paulo State Industries (FIESP) and the Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB), showed on Thursday (29) fall in the share . of agricultural and agricultural producers intending to invest in technology

Among the farmers, the percentage dropped from 68% in the first quarter of 2015 to 52% in the last quarter; considering the agricultural producers, the fall was 73% in the first three months of the year to 66% in the third quarter.

According to the survey, only 14% of farmers have shown willingness to expand investment in the acquisition and modernization of machinery and equipment, stable results in the first quarter 2015.

Of these, 41% say they will direct resources for the purchase of tractors, against 47% recorded from January to March. The portion of farmers who plan to invest in precision agriculture grew from 5% to 11% between the 1st and 3rd quarter 2015.

It has also increased the proportion of farmers who plan to apply more resources in qualifying personnel, from 21% to 26%. The main focus of the respondents, according to the survey, is to improve the training and management of staff training, followed by technical training of machine and equipment operators.

There was no change between the first and third quarter of this year in the proportion of farmers intending to invest in infrastructure (13%).
