In the days 13-17 August in Jukóvski,
in the Moscow region, was organized the second international exhibition of weapons,
technology and innovation Oboronekspo 2014
Despite its relatively history
short, Oboronekspo could have become one of the biggest events in the area where
are displayed the most modern examples of Russian and foreign land weapons,
equipment and technologies for military use.
The 2014 edition of technologies presented

The combat vehicle contrassabotagem
Taifun-M, created for the use of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces, is designed
based on armored personnel carriers BTR-82. The main objective

Another novelty, shown by first
time in Oboronekspo, is the heavy wheeled vehicle infantry fighting Atom,
developed by Uralvagonzavod factory. A replica was presented at
the vehicle in full size.
The Atom was designed to transport
mechanized units for combat and fire support to Marines. Her appearance
is significantly different to that of a combat vehicle of Russian infantry
its typical format. The vehicle has great length, strong armor, weighing up to
32 tonnes and carries a crew of up to 11 people. For landing there
a rear ramp and four portholes in the ceiling. The Atom is equipped with a cannon
