• With the recent recognition of the patent in Canada, as well as Mexico, Australia and South Africa, Brazilian company accelerates conquering overseas markets

The Intellectual Property Office of Canada (CIPO) just issued the document recognition patent for the electronic transaction platform for POS devices, smartphones, tablets POSWEB and PCs, developed by the Brazilian company APPI Technology. The certification guarantees the company the right to exclusive use of the technology in that country, in addition to evidence of inventiveness, originality and its industrial application.

The patent describes a system that allows the unification of payment solutions, credit , debit and prepaid cards, as well as value added services such as loyalty, ticketing, mobile recharge and correspondent banking, in different channels and devices at one version of the application. Thus, the solutions may be provided, distributed and updated remotely by a marketplace that enables rapid delivery of new products and services. The result is a significant reduction in operating costs of capture, while complying with all international safety standards of the card industry.

The Canadian recognition accelerates the conquest of the international market by the company that already has similar records with regulators from Mexico, South Africa and Australia. Besides these countries, requests for certifications are in process of evaluation in the United States, European Union, Japan, China, India and Brazil
