11 movies about technology that deserve your attention – Digital Look

Technology has always served as a rich background to plan stories in Hollywood. Of course, not all of them were excellent and many of them took advantage of a time when most were completely ignorant with computers to get away with blunders. But even so, many of them still remain pleasant over

Check out a number of feature films, classic and modern, that have technology as a theme:.

Tron (1982)

 Play
In the remote past, humanity has ever imagined it would be like a world inside computers. In this context emerged Tron movie in which a programmer finds himself transported into a digital game in which must win to get out. The costumes full of Neon are a highlight apart.

Games (WarGames, 1983)
The film was made during the Cold War and depicts the story of a boy who ends up in the systems of the United States Army and accidentally runs a simulation system thermonuclear war thinking it was a computer game. Thanks to this accident, the world sees the brink of World War III. It’s a little hard to believe that the servers of the American army would be so unprotected, but the film creates a nifty thriller about the possibility of the extinction of the human race.

Hackers (1995)

 Playing
Watch movies on 1990s technology is always interesting and funny. This movie, starring Angelina Jolie the actress before becoming a Hollywood superstar, is a good example. Created at a time when the internet was still something of a mystery to most of the world, shows the process of hacking a server as if it were a video game, among many basic errors. With time and the expansion of basic knowledge about computers, the film was so outdated that became a cult classic of the past decade. Worth taking a look, because at least those who had not showed familiarity with computers as “losers”, as many films of the time.

Pirates of Silicon Valley (Pirates of Silicon Valley, 1999)
In one of the greatest classics of the decade of 1999, it is possible to understand a bit about the birth and the historic rivalry between Apple and Microsoft while presenting the growth and popularity of the personal computer as a result of competition. Very worthwhile if you are interested in history (and modified slightly romanticized) computing.

Matrix (1999)
It was the first film to show a future where the machines rise up and dominate mankind, but could do differently, creating an alternate world where humans live in a false reality. There are those who feel that it is wrong to escape the horrible reality that humanity is trapped, while others will fight to keep the simulation running. One of the greatest classics of cinema with all the credit, and you have probably watched this film.

Minority Report (2002)
this movie of action and suspense in a futuristic dystopia, crimes are predicted even before they happen. Ok, this scenario also depends a little “magic” to predict the future, but it is interesting how the film sees the future and interaction with computer systems through gestures. Who knows with technology like Kinect this day is not close?

The Social Network (The Social Network, 2010)

Play
A romanticized story about the creation of Facebook, the largest social network in the world, which tells the origin of the ideas of Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the company, and his entrepreneurial vision, but also shows the dirty part of the world business.

The fifth power (The Fifth State, 2013)
tells the story of the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, on his mission to revealing state secrets, as corruptions and hidden truths of the population. The production includes the case of Bradley Manning, young man who was eventually arrested for revealing sensitive information about military actions of Americans in the Middle East.

Interns (The Internship, 2013) How
would work at Google? And how would get a spot internship at Google after his 30 years when nothing else in your life went wrong? The film, a quiet comedy, attempts to answer these questions in a humorous way, always with the search company as background. Comes to seem an advertising company at various times, but the film has its moments.

Jobs (2013)

Play
Ashton Kutcher looks a lot like Steve Jobs. Much the same. The work, which attempts to portray the history of the founding executive of Apple and its rise to a near-god status among the worshipers of the company suffered some criticism (even from Digital Look), but portrays some important passages of life and Jobs their worldview.

It (2013)
In times as hard richas between fans of iOS and Android, it is not difficult to find someone able to say that “love” your operating system. This film takes this to its ultimate consequences, prompting the protagonist to fall in love by your new operating system, which is called Samantha. Intelligent, the software begins to have deep discussions with his owner and is always available, always being helpful. With the evolution of Cortana and Siri, Apple and Microsoft, respectively, it is not difficult to imagine a future in which it is plausible.
