More than 200 participants, five speakers and 12 hours of activities will mark the start of Web Summit, in Ericeira, a weekend dedicated to surfing, the 5 and 6 November, prior to the event technology.
The surfer Tiago Pires, the surfers of giant waves Garrett McNamara and Andrew Cotton, the model and surfer Anastasia Ashley and the chief executive officer of the mobile application Wickr, Nico Sell, will be the speakers.
The Ericeira was chosen to inaugurate the technology conference Web Summit, event technology takes place from 7 to 10 November in Lisbon, bringing together sportsmen and women to participate in the Surf Summit.
During the two days, 5 and 6 November, the surfing event is presented by the organization as a “unique opportunity for the biggest names in technology get to know an environment that combines sport, technology and the sun, along the Portuguese coast”.

It will be an amazing experience for attendees, bringing together the best technology, sport, adventure, for two days of networking, in a local world-class. It is the perfect way to be prepared for the Web Summit itself,” reveals the ceo of Web Summit, Paddy Cosgrave.
During the two days, participants will have also the opportunity to surf the best waves in Europe along side some of the surfers most well-known in the world.
activities include mountain biking along the Mouth of the Use, yoga on the beach of Ribera D IIhas, and ‘standup paddle boarding’.

The Web Summit is a global conference technology, which transferred from Dublin to Lisbon and in which they are expected 50,000 participants from more than 150 countries, including more than 20 thousand companies, seven thousand presidents-executive and two thousand international journalists.
