Citroën has advanced to the renewal of the C4 Picasso does not hesitate to speak of 'new generation', even if the differences to the previous does not immediately jump to vista. The minivan (in versions 5 and 7 seats, this is designated as a Grand Picasso) came to the 3.Generation in 2013 and, after three years, deserved the care and attention that have refined and added content to the presuppositions that have accompanied him since the release.
A closer observation will give an account of the aesthetic changes, which are essential for the identification with the new the image of the brand. This is in the front, renewed, and in the rear section, here with reference to the optical units with the 3D effect. The new alloy wheels of 17', the new roof bars and the option to choose between 15 color combinations for the body – plus the option of roof rails in black on the 5-door version – complete rejuvenation aesthetic, discreet, but able to reaffirm the personality of the C4 Picasso.
Produced in Vigo, the mini-van of the French brand of the PSA group maintained, in essence, the logic that presided over the design of the interiors. There are new levels of equipment, it is right, but the environment onboard and the ease of use remain identical to the predecessor. There are exceptions, of course, and these pass in fact for making the big difference. We talk about technology and connectivity, associated with the driving and the two screens (a 12' and 7') that dominate the dashboard. The Citroën stresses the incorporation of security systems such as warning output range; alert dead angle; recognition of traffic signs; warning of risk of collision and braking active emergency.
on account of communication is the 'connect' box, which will allow you to connect to the services of the Citroën and, of course, the 'system ‘ connect nav' supported by the GPS tactile 3D TomTom. All to improve and help the driving experience.
the Family and also the friends
the renewal of The C4 Picasso also covered, and without surprise, the version of 7 seats, the Citroën designates as the Grand Picasso. The mini-van that can serve the family and still give a lift to friends sharing the news with the 'brother' of 5 seats, but has differences in regards to the engines available. The brand has defined a choice of two powertrains, petrol – 110 and 130 hp, but in the case of the version 7 places the only available option 1.2 Puretech cm 130 hp of power and that can serve up the box autmática. In relation to the blocks diesel, all with the system 'stop & start' (such as the units of the gasoline), there are 3 choices available: 110 cv and 120 cv removed from the 1.6 BlueHDi 8-valve and 150 horsepower from the 1.6 BlueHDI 16-valve.
