The Citroën prepares the revelation at the Paris Motor Show a new concept, called Cxperience, a futuristic-looking sedan that adds many of the elements already seen in more compact models like the C4 Cactus and the new C3, and applies them in a car larger. This model is proposed also as a vision for a number of new technologies, starting with the hybrid combination for the engine (Plug-in hybrid), but also by the suspension system which the company attributed the name Advanced Comfort Programme.

bold look, this Cxperience Concept presents divided drawing headlights, besides also with dynamic air intakes in the front bumper to tailor the air flow to the cooling requirements and, moreover, improve aerodynamic efficiency. Conventional mirrors have resulted in cameras, while the rear doors are open ‘suicide’. The aggressive visual component is completed by 22-inch wheels

This model measures almost five meters -. 4.85 meters long – and can thus point to the future successor to the C6, is still demarcating the distance wheelbase of three meters, to privileged habitability. Here, note for the technology placed for passenger services, with a rectangular screen 19 “to dominate the center console. Its functionality is divided: serves simultaneously center of information for the driver, but also screen for watching movies to the passenger. The mark ensures a ‘multiwindow’ experience, the screen may be divided into 1 / 3-2 / 3 or conversely. Inside the door in the raised position, there are more screens, one on each side, which show the images taken by the door mirrors. The ConnectedCAM system, released in C3, comes also here to allow drivers to record their travels.

As for the engine, the block union petrol engine with an electric motor allows to obtain up to 300 horsepower or can operate in electric mode with a range of 60 kilometers. The key to these figures is the possibility of change of powers available to the gasoline engine – 150-200 hp -., Emerging supported by the electric motor of 80 kW (about 107 hp)

The box speeds is automatic eight relations, and comes mounted in transverse position between the gasoline engine and electric, while the battery of 13 kWh is housed under the floor in the passenger compartment. The battery has a charging time of 4:30 a.m. in a standard outlet and 2:30 a.m. with a loading solution easy with a 6.6 kW charger adapted for a 32A socket.

As for the suspension, the Citroën bet on their new solution balance between dynamism and comfort, putting the focus on reducing noise, vibration and filtering of floor irregularities.
