A show that connects the dance technology, encompassing urban dance styles and contemporary packed by an exclusive soundtrack. This is “Fluzz” new work Dançurbana company, which opens on Friday (2), at 20h, in the theater Glauce Rock, in Campo Grande. Admission is free and tickets must be picked up at the site of presentation from 19h (MS).
“As our body relates to the technology? Faced with an increasingly connected society, it was born the idea of creating a spectacle that could promote dialogue on the subject. Our research is directly linked to how the body behaves on the technology, as it has to make changes to adapt to it. We rely on different aspects of technology: interaction, participation, social media, among others. And we were inspired by the author Augusto Franco, writer and researcher of the New Science of Networks, a researcher who led our studies, creation and show the name, “explains the director and choreographer of the company, Mark Mattos.
Mattos He says in Fluzz, the body is the starting point pointing in different directions, because the path is the flow itself. On stage are presented techniques of urban dance, contemporary dance and improvisation. They are used by the six performers-creators to weave a network of connections. The soundtrack is built live, as the look of VJ Reginaldo Borges Soares, so each presentation Fluzz has a unique trail. Another aspect that makes every single show of the session is the improvisation technique that will also be applied on the scene.
“The public will see improvised scenes and choreographed scenes. Up due to a very large reference network, the flow that creates the relationship between time and space, improvisation has a lot of it, here and now, the networks also have it, have that application, for example, where you send a picture after a certain time is erased, “Mattos says.
Another highlight is the costume, based on games, video games and also the idea of the” cut-outs “. “Within an experiment we did with a smartphone, we realize that we, as users, we always do a cut of what we want to see and breathe this habit to design the costumes,” he adds.
After Campo Grande, the company continues with performances in Dourados, September 16, at 20h, in Indaiá club; in Três Lagoas, September 30, at 20h, in the NOB and Barracão; in Corumbá, on November 18, at 20h, in the auditorium Solomon Baruki. In these urban dance workshops cities will also be held.
