In late summer is going to be sent into space the first phase of the spatial plan ENGINEERING Center of Micro-satellite Shanghai. There are three small satellites that go off the planet and have in common the fact that carry equipped Tekever Portuguese technology.
And it is precisely the technology under the national company that will allow satellites to function as a small constellation. Thus all three devices will be connected and communicating with each other and with the laboratories on Earth.
“It’s our technology that makes the three satellites communicate and interact, as in a dance space,” says in a statement the administrator of Tekever, Ricardo Mendes.
The spokesman added that this “is the first time that a Portuguese company can establish a business partnership with a Chinese entity in the area of space,” noting the largest investment that China has made available for this area.
After the agreement was signed in April 2014, the Gamalink technology of the Portuguese company began shipping this month – the same system that is already used in land mobile communications and allows a more efficient use of electromagnetic spectrum.
The Tekever is still the internationalization particularly in terms of drones, participating in several European missions, and recently the company received the best mobile applications distinction for the ecommerce segment by Mobizy, assigned by the UN.
