Jaguar creates technology transparent pillars for cars – EXAME.com

São Paulo – Jaguar Land Rover works in a technology to end blind spots of a car . The idea is to design inside the car’s image abroad. Thus, the roof support columns would be “transparent”. The goal is to reduce the possibility of accidents involving pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists who are in blind spots.

Another technology that the company has shown and which aims to reduce accidents is the “Follow me”. It would help in navigation in cities and busy environments. The path would be displayed to the driver not on a map, but as the projection of another car on the glass that would make the way to the final destination. The concept uses the HUD technology (Head-Up Display, or display with head held high, in Portuguese).
