CES 2014: recall smartphones and tablets launched in the last edition of the biggest tech fair
world

Sony

Sony is one of the manufacturers who will present their innovations at CES 2015. The company, which will present their innovations on the 5th, said it would show the latest products in 4K, high-resolution audio, digital imaging, and mobile devices. Thus, state and related gadgets headphones should hit point.

However, the greatest expectations for the manufacturer is the Xperia Z4, which must be equipped with the new sensor Exmor RS camera IMX230. It features the same 21 megapixels Z3, but should come with a host of new features, including CMOS image sensor, which can track fast moving objects. The other specifications should not change much from its predecessor, announced in September this year.

The unit arrived in Brazil less than two months after the global launch, which may indicate similar path with Z4. It is also being speculated the announcement of a larger version, called Xperia Z4 Ultra, which would have a 5.9 inch screen – 0.5 more than the little brother.

As the wearables should be the highlight of the fair, the fitness tracker Core is also being awaited. The chip connects to Android devices and has been previously presented. So far, it is used with a bracelet waterproof, and the promise is that a new range of accessories is available from the manufacturer.

As for those interested in games, who are awaiting news on the PlayStation may have to wait a little longer, because the manufacturer usually advertise it on own events.

Samsung

The Samsung also will make his presentation on day 5. It is taken for granted that the South Korean will release a new line of TVs, probably all with 4K technology. One of the bets is the update on Bendable UHD TV, which bears the title “the greatest curve of the world” screen thanks to its 105 inches. The first version of the device costs $ 120,000 (about US $ 310,000 in the current share price) out there and R $ 500 thousand in Brazil (yes, half a million). If the model is updated, you can get to Brazil, but is for a very restricted audience.

It is likely that the manufacturer show new versions of laptops, cameras, the tablets Galaxy Tab Pro and Note Pro – both introduced at CES 2014 – and smart appliances. The presentation at CES 2013 was marked by flexible screen Youm, and it is reasonable that the technology to appear in some of the products. The alleged Galaxy Gear 3, who was tipped to the IFA 2014 can also give the guys in Las Vegas in January, although this possibility is less plausible.

LG

The CES 2015 will be the debut stage for the second generation of LG G Flex. The rumored that the G Flex 2 will be slightly smaller than the original model, but with higher resolution screen. Remember that the first version was also announced at CES 2014 coming to Brazil in less than three months later.

Also in the mobile field, another possible presence but less quoted, is LG G4. The G3′s successor is expected to display screen with qHD resolution, use processor with 64-bit architecture and have 3 or 4 GB of RAM.

Just like last year, LG should include in the event TVs with webOS and monitors. Curved screens with resolution UHD (4K and perhaps 8K) and OLED technology will certainly be there. The South Korean should also disclose various intelligent electronic home, like washing machines and refrigerators.

Lenovo

Lenovo is expected to announce some laptops and tablets, but most expectation is for news in wearable and smartphones. This is because the Chinese company recently bought Motorola, which gives scope for CES 2015 is used as a showcase of much innovation.

Although the Motorola already have your Moto 360, Lenovo already said it will announce a wearable device in January. It could be an update of the already leaked bracelet fitness Lenovo Smartband, as well as other brand new device. It is possible that the next edition of the fair display only unusable prototypes, but will serve to demonstrate that came the partnership with Motorola.

HTC

The HTC One M9, name being speculated to the next top-line manufacturer, should not showing up at CES – for the market mobile, the MWC is the safest bet for that. On the other hand, the smart watch HTC One Wear is very dimensioned to arise in the event. Rumors say the device will be similar to the round design Moto 360, running Android Wear.

Nvidia

CEO of Nvidia Jen-Hsun Huang, will make a presentation on the 4th at 20h local time. The company’s focus will be on mobile technologies and automotive. It is possible that the company also show news in your Tegra K1, the superprocessador 192 GPU cores.

Other manufacturers

The Sharp confirmed presence at CES 2015. The safest bet is for smart TVs, but it is possible that other appliances are present. Panasonic shall provide appliances such as LCD / LED televisions, SoundBars and headphones.

Although Valve is out of the event, Alienware, Maingear and Gigabyte will be there to show products to the public gamer. None of the companies spoke about it, but it is likely that something in terms of Steam Machines, the machines equipped with the SteamOS that integrate PC and televisions, to appear.

It must be remembered even brands like Audi and Ford, which usually have technological innovations for the domestic car environment. In this sense, it is worth remembering that Apple CarPlay is a reality and may appear in luxury models.

Speaking of Apple, it should appear as a supporting through its HomeKit, working together with gadgets that turn the iPhone into remote control for smart homes. Other promises for CES 2015 are streaming high resolution and Blu-ray quality 4K. You wait and see.
