Wondering: startup Braga that exports audio technology for the … – business Newspaper (press release)

The start-up of the Portuguese that was born in Braga combines the technology with the electronic music. The Wondering is a pioneer in the development and marketing of audio technology in Portugal and has conquered the world.

Since then, the Harp Laser, an imposing iron structure designed to give the idea of greatness (with more than 2 meters in height), has been very requested for events and activations for the brand, a little bit all over the country.

The Harp Laser is in fact one of the projects of Imagining that came by the hand of Nuno Santos, founder and CEO of this start up but it is not the only product of the company. This entrepreneur has always had particular interest in the area of music electronic, there are already more than 17 years of age when he met his friends Rui Antunes and Bruno Brandão and they used the computer to create electronic music with the programs that existed at the time: Reason, Fruity Loops (now FL Studio), Cubase, Ableton Live (more later). All of this at the time of the phone most popular was the NOKIA 3310.

In search of a dream

Since this time the dream’s electronic music was. Later Nuno would end up studying engineering Systems and Computing, and Rui Sound engineering. With the advent of mobile devices, Nuno, that slowly came back to devote energies to the music producing increasingly with the software Ableton Live, has decided to recover an old project: to create a remote controller for this software. The first version of this controller would go out to the market in December 2011. Two years later, in May 2014, He starts a new chapter of his life, Wondering.

the beginning of The Wonder marks the return of a great dream, to combine the technology with the music. In addition to the LIVKONTROL, the company is betting on the creation of a new product, TKFX, a remote controller for the software TRAKTOR, widely used by djs all over the world. After the TKFX, was the adaptation of his first software, the LIVKONTROL in LK.

Since the first day that the Wonder invested in the universality of its solutions, creating software that works simultaneously on iOS and Android, as well as on smartphone and tablet. Another distinguishing aspect of the company is that it will allow users to test before you buy, providing the free download of the application, fully functional for 7 days.

Synth of choice for many musicians

In 2015, Nuno in partnership with his friend, Rui, who begins to develop a synthesizer – a musical instrument – that allows the creation of sounds electronically generated. Sgurgiu after the Harp Laser and in March 2016, the synthesizer comes to the market with the name DRC, and in a few months it becomes in the synthesizer of choice for many musicians.

Currently with a portfolio of three applications, the Imagining has more than 30,000 downloads monthly and asserts itself increasingly as a player in the market, having already had their products listed in the largest publications in the world of specialty: Keyboard Magazine, AskAudio, Musicradar, Music Tech Magazine, Sound on Sound, Resident Advisor, Create Digital Music, etc.
