Space technology? See what is already being done in the Uk – cash Money

The Pedro Nunes Institute coordinates the Incubation Centre of the European Space Agency (ESA) in Portugal, which aims to support startups that use space technologies uses everyday to improve the lives of the people.

Niels Eldering from ESA, highlighted the "incredible entrepreneurial spirit" of Portugal, which stands out among the 16 incubators of Europe.

in This photogallery you can see some of the prototypes that are to be for the ESA BIC Portugal, a programme led by Instituto Pedro Nunes with poles in UPTEC and in the agency DNA Cascais. The projects are supported with 50 thousand euros for the construction of prototypes and management of intellectual property, benefitting from direct support of business and technical support, as well as access to a wide network of potential customers, partners and investors.

THE ESA BIC Portugal has the support of the Office of the Space (FCT/ANI), among other stakeholders, such as the CCDRC, universities, municipalities and investors, having been considered of strategic importance for Portugal, for which reason the Government, through FCT, has invested significant resources in this area. To date, the ESA BIC Portugal supports 12 start-ups.
