High technology in favour of rejuvenation – Terra Brasil

One of the main desires of women is to have a look always young and healthy. Display a beautiful skin and bright raises the self-esteem of many women and make them feel even more secure.

in Addition to the intrinsic ageing, other factors also contribute to the emergence of wrinkles and marks of expression, such as excessive exposure to solar radiation and life habits, such as smoking, for example.

And to prevent this condition or even postpone the aging process, the aesthetic market has numerous non-invasive techniques that promote a lifting effect.

These technologies slow the aging process and can often prolong the need for a procedure more invasive or aggressive as plastic surgery, for example.

The technologies are not invasive most known and used are lasers, intense pulsed light, radiofrequency, and most recently, the ultrasonic focused high-intensity (HIFU).

The main objective of these techniques is to cause changes in the dermis and/or epidermis and bring back a more youthful appearance.

The ultrasound focus, for example, is an alternative used a few years ago for the treatment of localized fat and sagging skin, for the purpose of stimulating the production of collagen on the surface level and deeper, returning thus, the elasticity and support to the saggy skin.

According to the physiotherapist dermato functional, Thais Rodrigues, the mechanism of action of the technology in facial treatment is essentially the heating of the dermis and areas subdérmicas, without injury to the epidermis.

“The process of the cascade of repair triggered by ultrasound focused results in the attraction of inflammatory cells, followed by fibroblasts. Thus, the collagen is denatured by heat, resulting in the formation of a new collagen, followed by tension of the skin, reducing the sagging and ensuring the result of rejuvenation immediately,” he explains.

Among the various options present in the market of the aesthetic highlights of the Ultrafocus of the HTM. It is distinguished from the other technologies, due to their ability to produce locking up and tearing thermal in the reticular dermis, as also in the layer of fibromuscular, called the Superficial musculoaponeurotic System – SMAS.

“THE SMAS, as well as the dermis, is composed of collagen and elastic fibers and has the ability to provide the support and maintenance of the suspension of the skin, which will be lost as a result of the aging process,” he observes.

This way, the ultrasound acts by stimulating the synthesis of collagen and returning the tension to the SMAS. “As the SMAS is the region in which the surgeons operate, the technology presents an excellent non-invasive alternative procedure facelift,” he says.

The consultant also points out that the results with the technology are immediate; and already in the first session notes-if the lifting effect, but, in general, we recommend three sessions, with intervals of at least 30 days.

A new cycle of treatment can be done after six months, aimed at the maintenance of the results.
