Juncker warns Facebook and Google to fight against fake news – FROG 24

The president of the European Commission (EC), Jean-Claude Juncker, warned today the network Facebook and Google to fight against the false news and has warned that it will monitor the measures announced by the giants technology to stop the spread of this news.

"Facebook and Google must develop, in their own interest, systems to combat this kind of false information, since the credibility should be your biggest capital," said the president of the European Commission (EC), Jean-Claude Juncker, in an interview to a title of the German group Funke.

Remembering that "freedom also means responsibility", Junker reacted to the recent controversy about the influence on winning the Donald Trump of the proliferation of fake news on social networks.
