The fire that broke out in a chemical laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa has been extinguished by firefighters Trafaria. A security had to be assisted on site, but is out of danger.
The fire, which will be triggered by 7:00 a.m. college located in Monte da Caparica, Almada, have begun due to a short circuit the laboratory in a refrigerator. The fire led to the site 13 vehicles and 35 operational firemen and GNR Trafaria.
Contacted by the Observer, the CDOS Setubal reported that there have been only material damages and that security had inhaled smoke, and received assistance on site and has not been required to travel to the hospital.
the authorities are now carrying out the ventilation works in the laboratory. The building will be closed during the morning and begin gradually becoming available throughout the afternoon.
