‘Interconnected’ wants closer business research and … – Daily News – Funchal

The Regional Secretariat for the Economy, Tourism and Culture (SRETC) through Regional Innovation Management, Recovery and Entrepreneurship (DRIVE), in partnership with the University of Madeira and the Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering (INEGI), promotes March 15, the 1st ‘Interconnected’, focused on the theme “Bringing Research and Technological Development to your business’.

This is a disclosure initiative skills and projects of these institutions with regional companies, with the aim of bringing the centers of research and production of knowledge to the business world. The SRETC intends fact that this is the first such session, designed to make the link between scientific research done in the region and the continent and regional companies.

The first session ‘Interconnected’ will take place in the auditorium Center of Atlantic History Studies (CEHA), on Rua das Merces # 8, from 9 am to 15 March. the opening session, scheduled for 9:30 am, will be chaired by the Regional Secretary of Economy, Tourism and Culture Eduardo Jesus, followed by interventions by representatives of the INEGI, the UMa and the business Development Institute.

During the afternoon of that day will be provided by the organization the opportunity for companies interested in cooperation projects and knowledge transfer models meet with UMa or INEGI elements so that they can address the particular situations and know the possibilities that best fit the company concerned in terms of the practical application of scientific research and respective gains in competitiveness.
