The Chinese Minister of Science and Technology today highlighted the role of science and innovation in the “transformation of industrial structure” of China, which is implementing a plan to reduce excess production capacity in the secondary sector.
Wan Gang, who was speaking in parallel to the annual session of the National Assembly, the maximum legislature of China, acknowledged the existence of difficulties, despite the support of government scientists and entrepreneurs of the country.
“There are some problems not solved yet and the next step is implementing the measures, so that researchers and scientists to benefit,” he said in a press conference.
