As you can read in The Verge, 20,000 of car accidents in Australia are caused by the appearance on the road kangaroos, marsupial with behavior “erratic” and difficult to predict.

“In Sweden we have done research with larger and slow animals such as elk, deer and cows that are serious threats in our roads. Kangaroos are smaller than these animals and the behavior is more erratic. That is why it is important to us to test our technology and calibremos kangaroos in the wild, “considered one of Volvo’s engineers in a blog post of the brand.
