An application for smartphones can become the main ally to environmental preservation and nature in the north coast of São Paulo. The application is being developed by Argonaut Institute and will receive complaints and information from residents of the four towns in the region -. Caraguatatuba, São Sebastião, Ubatuba and Ilhabela

According to the institute’s president, Hugo Gallo, the free application can be downloaded by Android devices and IOS, and after residents declined in tool, they can contribute to environmental preservation, especially with complaints and requests for animal rescues.

Development
A company was hired earlier this month to develop the application and is expected to be ready within three months after pass tests. Also according to the institute, the contract with the company provides maintenance costs and a team will be assembled to work.
