article published Saturday (2) at The Wall Street Journal says that Qualcomm, an American company of telecommunications products, has announced new agreements for 3G and 4G technology patent licensing with two Chinese firms: the supplier of Beijing Tianyu equipment and appliance maker Haier Group.
The report says that Qualcomm, which this month closed similar agreement with the manufacturer Xiaomi smartphones, gets over 50% of its profit from licensing patents, and China accounted for over 50% its total revenue for the fiscal year ended September
