Art and technology combine in an exhibition open to the public today (9), the Cultural Space of Coppe, which also marks the beginning an interdisciplinary cooperation between two distinct areas of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ):. the letters and the arts and engineering Palavrio displays an interactive poem-installation that honors the city of Rio de Janeiro by its 450 anniversary.

There are 64 words that follow at the facility, with the images projected on the end of a corridor and verbalized each by one person. In proportion as the visitor walks toward the hall, the animation slows down, allowing visual identification and sound of words. In the end, one of them is selected, giving access to an entry and a map indicating the person’s place of residence who said the word.

The curators. is the teacher Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda, coordinator of Contemporary Culture Advanced Program (Pacc), linked to the Faculty of Arts of the UFRJ.
