Technology allows you to download a 100MB file in less than 2 seconds an HD movie (2GB) in less than a minute.

In October reported here that Vodafone was preparing to offer its customers 4G + technology (LTE-Advanced). The technology guarantee speeds up to 300 Mbps connections via mobile internet.

Recently, Vodafone has made known that, in partnership with Ericsson, managed to reach speeds of 450 Mbps, also with 4G + technology.

Vodafone is the first operator in Portugal and one of the first in the world to achieve debts download 450 Mbps in the mobile network. A significant increase over the previous maximum of 300 Mbps and above any commercial offer available today in fixed networks.

This speed was achieved in the laboratory, in partnership with Ericsson, but already using some components of real mobile network. It is recalled that the LTE-Advanced technology uses the aggregation of two or more frequency bands to increase the available speeds.

This technological innovation will allow in the future to providing a better user experience, with clear benefits for customers who use the Mobile Internet services. With this development will be possible, for example, download a 100MB file in less than 2 seconds and an HD movie (2GB) in less than a minute.
