LIAT adopts new technology to the Sabre distribution tariffs – Marketing & Events

Sabre Corporation today announced the extension of its agreement in technology and distribution with LIAT, the Caribbean Airline basada in Antigua. Besides deepening its marketing strategy in the travel agency channel, LIAT implemented new features that enhance connectivity and data access rates, and changes in airline seats booked by agents.

With respect to technology, LIAT also migrated management of your transactions for a new set of solutions built by Sabre – for e-ticketing with real-time travel agents. . The update enables agents to book flights with LIAT in the eastern region of the Caribbean, Bahamas, US, UK and France to issue electronic tickets and manage changes requested by passengers

David Evans, CEO of LIAT, said: “This new agreement with Sabre allows us to continue presenting LIAT as the preferred airline for air travel in the Caribbean and also helps us to strengthen our partnership with agents because they give support to our business and contribute in consumer preference” .

Julia De Jesus, vice president of Sabre Travel Network in the Caribbean and Northern Latin America, added: “Sabre’s technology to optimize the delivery of services e-commerce travel, adding new features benefit agencies and their customers. The technological capabilities of the Sabre include tasks common for professionals in the management of airline tickets, such as reservation confirmations real-time access to inventory of seats on flights, and other features available in the Sabre system.
