Rural technology is researched in exhibition park in Amapa – Globo.com

An area of ​​900 square meters began offering possibilities for discoveries of new technologies for agriculture in Amapá. The Broadcast Centre in Rural Technology (CDTR) began its activities on Friday (13), to meet the farmers, academics and students from around the Fazendinha Exhibition Park in Macapa.

Workers the course and students will have access to research and training courses related to Integrated Production Program (PPI) and the Agroforestry System using a home semi-mechanized flour, a semi-industrial kitchen and a small factory of açaí production, as built on the site.

“With the completion of Expofeira, we see the need to establish a center for us to work the diffusion of technology to those who are part of the productive sector by offering training and research,” said CEO of the Rural Development Institute of Amapá (Rurap), José Maria Darmasso.

The use of space happens on a schedule, according to the needs of communities. The space will also be expanded to meet the psicultura sector, reaching 1.5 hectares, the government said.

The CDTR works in the mini-farm that was built during the 51st Expofeira Amapá Agriculture 30 to November 8. The space is managed by Rurap, operating of state departments of Science and Technology (Setec), Rural Development (SDR), the Iepa, Embrapa, and the Federal Universities (UNIFAP) and State (Ueap) of Amapá.

The state government reported that in addition to the research center, the Fazendinha the Exhibition Park will also receive other projects so that the space is used at other times of year, in addition to Expofeira Agriculture. Before the start of the fair, residents said the area is not used during the year.

One of them is the construction of a convention center to host events related to tourism, economy, among other services. The project is concluded, the government, and it will still go through discussions. There is also forecast new events to the area of ​​the park.

“Later this year we plan to start the event realization process in the park every two or three months, as a business showcase. We need to hold smaller events but also help to build opportunities for people, “said the governor of Amapá, Waldez Goes.
