The Uber released on Monday (13) calls for helicopter trips in Greater São Paulo. In addition to existing UberX and UberBlack, the application offers a new option for users to choose one of the five heliports and four airports available.

The city will be the first in the world to receive the service, named UberCopter. The result of a partnership Uber with Airbus, the option will be available for one month. When requesting a helicopter, the user will be directed to a page where Airbus will use your credentials Uber. Then the user must enter the number of passengers. Each aircraft carries four passengers and 500 kg including luggage.

After confirming the trip, the user will receive a text message with the confirmation of flight and access information to the helipad. A UberBlack will take the user to the heliport and another vehicle will expect you in the helicopter landing point.

The collection is made per seat used. According to Uber, UberBlack values ​​may vary, but the price of the helicopter flight will be fixed. A flight from the Blue Tree on Avenida Faria Lima, and Guarulhos Airport, it costs on average US $ 271 per seat and takes about 12 minutes.
