Portuguese like technology. But did they see? – News Minute to (press release)

The introduction of new technologies hardly leave anyone indifferent, and the Portuguese are no exception. In fact, according to the study ‘European Technology Habits 2016′ from Samsung, our country has a higher percentage of citizens impressed with new technologies, with a percentage of 77% compared to 55% of the European average.

But will the enthusiasm for new technologies is equivalent to the public? It seems that is not the case since there are still terms and concepts that are beyond the Portuguese domain. Among the set of misunderstood terms we can find the ‘streaming’, the ‘wearables’, the ‘fiber’ and the ‘cloud’. Even though there is still work to do in this field, already seems to be in Portugal who can not live without technology, more precisely 15% of respondents.

With regard to the applications seem to be more popular areas and have more downloads through its utility. Samsung’s study is clear in this respect, with the Maps application (72%) of Meteorology (56%) and Camera (54%) to be on top of the most used applications.
