The 22th Week metro-railway technology and Metroferr Expo will take place from 13 to 16 September 2016, at the Convention Center Frei Caneca, in São Paulo (SP).
The AEAMESP is conducting the accreditation Press. The biggest subway-railroad Congress Latin America will discuss perspectives and solutions for the mobility of passengers and cargo on rails in Brazil.
The Congress will have 11 panels and more than 40 technical papers. There will be discussions on trends and regulations, as well as cases of successful adoption of technologies and construction techniques. Through strategic panels and presentations of scientific papers, the event is committed to disseminate quality information and to promote new technologies to boost the sector.
According to the Board of AEAMESP (Association of Engineers and Metro Architects), Brazil can not allow a temporary situation stop the expansion of metroferroviárias networks, nor can it accept that the railway network stop growing . “More than ever we need to move forward with the rail networks, accelerating the resumption of economic growth and improving the quality of life,” says Emiliano Stanislau Affonso Neto, president of AEAMESP.
Main Theme – With the theme “Investing and Advancing Efficiency”, the 22th Metroferroviária Technology Week will address issues related to rail segments of cargo and passengers, proposing solutions and helping to take the role the railways projects in cities.

About the 3rd Prize Technology & amp; Development Metroferroviários ANPTrilhos-CTBU – The ceremony for the 3rd Prize Technology and Metroferroviários Development will be held on September 13, 2016, shortly after the opening of the 22th Metroferroviária Technology Week scheduled for the time from 14:00 to 15:30 . Fifteen jobs will be awarded with trophies and the top three technical papers will receive prize of R $ 5,000 each. The Award Technology & amp; Metroferroviários development is an initiative of ANPTrilhos (National Association of Passenger Rail Transport) and CTBU (Brazilian Urban Train Company) with the support of AEAMESP, the entity responsible for the Congress.
