Technology used in “Deadpool” and “Tomb Raider” is fighting target … – Digital Look

The film “Deadpool” is still breaking records and winning more space in the media. This time, it comes to a fight by the patent technology called MOVA, used in the Ryan Reynolds film and also in other films like “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” and also in game for PC and Xbox One “the Rise of the Tomb Raider”.

the resource in question maps each point of the human face and replace it with graphic animations. Thus, the use of makeup becomes smaller and scenes of transformations as the green giant Hulk get even more realistic.

the dispute about who is the real owner of MOVA involves Rearden companies, the United States, and Shenzhenshi Haitiecheng Science and Technology Company, China. Both claim rights for technology and fight in court. the Chinese company even has sued the US in February.

since the Rearden asked a US judge to grant repair financial damage to the company and blocked film productions that use or infringe the patents of MOVA. This action, however, is regarded by lawyers as a remote possibility.
