According to the secretary Lucy Melo, the resources for these investments will come from the Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep), of R $ 3.8 million, plus a counterpart of government, of R $ 1.29 million. “This investment was already approved and we moved the focus to align with the agenda of the State Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation. We want Parqtel has a key role to promote innovation in Pernambuco, together with Porto Digital, in the ICT sector, and the Innovation Park in Health, “says the secretary. Today, twelve companies already operating in Parqtel and three others are being installed.
On Thursday (14), will be released the notice of the Foundation for Science and Pernambuco Technology (Facepe) to development research project, development and technological innovation in Parqtel. They will be released R $ 1 million for research projects, which will be incubated in Inbarcatel, and R $ 600,000 for the implementation of prototyping labs and internet of things in technical schools in the state. The launch will be made during the Workshop on Advanced Manufacturing, promoted by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) and Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), in partnership with the very Secti at Jump Brazil in Santo Amaro .
the notice aims to support research, development and technological innovation, through the selection of proposals for financial support for projects to be developed in Parqtel. Proposals must be submitted by September 5 and may request funds for capital items and cost between R $ 100,000 and R $ 300,000 for development projects within 24 months. The Technical Center for Management and Administrative (CGTA) of Parqtel holds up to 10 projects in incubation.
The companies will use the infrastructure of the future four laboratories to provide technological services and development and prototyping of innovative projects and services in advanced manufacturing. “The multiuser Center also aims to create networks of cooperation between universities and ICT industries in an environment conducive to innovation. We intend to add and complement several existing infrastructure in institutions located in the State and integrate them through Parqtel, “said the secretary.
The Institute of Technological Innovation (IIT) of UPE, which is already under construction, It will be a multidisciplinary space for research in any future product patents. The first building will have about 1,600 square meters of built area and can accommodate projects that are already under development in UPE, in partnership with companies such as Chesf, Celpe, Alcatel-Lucent, FCA and Ericsson, among others.
