According to the secretary Lucy Melo, the resources for these investments will come from the Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep), of R $ 3.8 million, plus a counterpart of government, of R $ 1.29 million. “This investment was already approved and we moved the focus to align with the agenda of the State Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation. We want Parqtel has a key role to promote innovation in Pernambuco, together with Porto Digital, in the ICT sector, and the Innovation Park in Health, “says the secretary. The launch will be made during the Workshop on Advanced Manufacturing, promoted by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) and Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), in partnership with the very Secti at Jump Brazil in Santo Amaro .

The Institute of Technological Innovation (IIT) of UPE, which is already under construction, It will be a multidisciplinary space for research in any future product patents.
