Students Federal Institutes across the country will gather in technology and innovation event to be held in Porto Velho, from May 30, with workshops for robot programming. The program is geared to the public and must be given by students of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Rondônia (Ifro). Those interested should look for the organizers, in the days of the event. The workshops will be free.
According to the organizers, the workshops will have an average duration of three hours and each group will be composed of up to 20 people. Participants will be instructed on how to program the brain of the robot for simple movements. The robots will be ready, will present the attached equipment and how each of them:. To participate, one does not need to have any prior knowledge. The workshops will also be directed to the elementary school students, within the age range allowed. Schools that are interested in participating should email to desafio@ifro.edu.br.
The Challenge of Technology and Innovation of the Federal Institutes, held in partnership with the Department of Professional and Technological Education ( Setec), the Ministry of Education, takes place from 30 May to 1 June in Porto Velho Shopping, from 10 to 22 hours, except for the first day, when at 19:30 will take place the opening ceremony, the Campus Ifro Port old Calama.
