In case of accident: Google technology glue pedestrians to hood – TSF Online

The aim is to prevent the pedestrian when struck by a car is designed or is crushed by the vehicle that hit him.

Basically the driverless vehicle Google has a technology that covers the hood with a kind of adhesive. This layer is activated when there is contact with a pedestrian.

According to the the Google, the action of “glue” is instantaneous and serves to lock the pawn that ends up clinging to the hood of the car .

the adhesive layer is coated with a material to prevent cling e.g. insects or rubbish, which breaks into contact with a pedestrian.
