The minister of Health says that technology should help to improve the SUS … – Globo.com

The minister of Health, Ricardo Barros, said on Sunday (27), in Goiania, where the use of technology should help the ministry to get more information about the application of resources and improving the Single Health System (SUS). The minister was received by governor Marconi Perillo (PSDB), in the Centre of Information and Strategic Decisions of the Secretary of State for Health, where he met the facilities of the program Connects the SUS.

During the visit, the minister highlighted the importance of monitoring and spoke about the need to expand the network in the country. "We have as number one priority of the ministry of information. To do the management, we need information. So, I came to visit this experience, which is considered one of the most successful in Brazil and it is where the Ministry of Health wants to get with a Control Panel, the National," he said.

Ricardo Barros also spoke about the deadline given to municipalities to implement the mechanism, and feed with information about the investments in Health in the cities.

"I reconvoco the mayors, we gave up the day 10 of December so that all municipalities are connected with the SUS [unified Health System], and transferring information to the ministries for we get to have this level of control of everything that happens in Brazil, how it is invested each Real SUS on the health of Brazilians," he stressed.

After getting to know the headquarters of the project, the minister made a visit to the Hospital of Urgencies in Goiania (Hugo).
