Cesar promotes event on health technology – NE10

The Cesar (Center for Studies and Advanced Systems of Recife) wants to bring together experts and discuss the use of technology to change the reality of health in the country at the event HAPPENS Health – Innovation as a change agent which will be held tomorrow at the Palace Customs.

the lectures are directed to entrepreneurs, startups, third sector organizations and investors will discuss pioneering initiatives of technologies that are already changing the reality of health in Brazil. In addition to sharing knowledge about studies and research of new practices and innovations that are great bets for Health in the medium and long term.

There will be two debates blocks:. the first with the theme the future of medicine , addressing initiatives and studies that are at the forefront when it comes to innovation to bring changes and improvements for the sector. Part of the panel doctor in Urology Tiberius Moreno Jr. Memorial Hospital São José (Recife); Professor José Luiz, the LIKA-UFPE; the plastic surgeon Pablo Maricevich, the Restoration Hospital (Recife); and Alberto Leite, a journalist of the magazine Healthers who will be the moderator of the discussions of this block.

The second block will debate on Innovations that already bring changes , where the challenges will be discussed and the current reality of health in the country and the world, and to share practices and innovative solutions. The State Health Secretary of Pernambuco, Iran Costa; Chief of Windmills Hospital Emergency Service (Porto Alegre), Paul Schmitz; and the coordinator of Telehealth of the Clinical Hospital Center, Magdala Novaes. The founder of MAGNAMED, Tatsuo Suzuki, will be the moderator of this block.

The closure will be with the lecture What to expect from medicine in the near future? Technology comes to help or replace current methods, people and diagnostics? , Jones Albuquerque, professor at DEINFO-UFRPE, researcher at LIKA-UFPE, chief scientist of the ISI-TICS and developer CESAR.EDU. Albuquerque is director of knowledge and co-founder of Epitrack, startup that develops collaborative platforms for building maps showing the location of epidemics and infectious disease outbreaks, an example of the union of technology and public health.
