Users in the US can afford to rent or buy the movie on multiple sites

‘The Interview’ is already on the Internet

Sony released the movie online this Wed fair.

The film The Interview is now available on YouTube , Googleplay and rental service Xbox. Sony has also created its own website for rental and purchase the film, but all of these services are only available in the US market.

“It was always the intention of Sony have a national platform to launch this film” , said in a statement, the chief executive of Sony Entertainment, Michael Lynton.

The film generated controversy for killing fictionally the leader of North Korea provoked a computer attack on Sony. After the premiere be canceled and now restored, The Interview will debut in the US alone, around 200 rooms mostly independent cinemas.

The largest theaters in the country refused to pass the film for fear of reprisals by the same group of pirates who attacked the Sony. This attack, which was attributed to North Korea and that President Barack Obama responded, also revealed embarrassing emails from the company.
