The 15 most innovative technology companies of 2015 – Digital Look

The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a leading business consulting companies in the world, announced this week its traditional report with the most innovative companies of the year. In 2015, the ranking has not changed much compared to last year, bringing Apple and Google again at the top.

The maker of the iPhone and iPad appears first as the owner of the Android YouTube and creator occupies the second place. Soon after comes the Tesla Motors , the billionaire Elon Musk, maker of electric cars of luxury and one of the main investors in sustainable technologies.

Microsoft maintains the same position last year, fourth. Already Samsung fell from third place in 2014 to fifth this year, just behind Microsoft. Even among several manufacturers and companies not so linked to the field of technology, the Amazon (9), IBM (13th) and Yahoo! (16th ) are still among the first 20 positions.

But the streaming service films and series Netflix appears in 21st place, while electronics maker HP gets the 23th place. Rounding out the list, between the representatives of the technology sector: Facebook (28) Siemens (30) Cisco (31) Huawei (45) and, finally, the Lenovo (50).

According to BCG, four attributes were taken into account in determining the level of innovation of these companies. They are:. Emphasis on bringing news as soon as possible, investments in research and development department, the use of technology platforms and systemic exploitation of adjacent markets
