ZTE and Softbank are joined by technology “pre-5G” in Japan … – EXAME.com


 The Chinese manufacturer of telecommunications equipment ZTE said on Friday it had agreed with the SoftBank to deploy its technology “pre-5G” in the Japan with commercial tests starting in the year next.

 


 ZTE has announced its technology “pre-5G” as a provider of higher speed in 4G network.


 


 ZTE sees as an intermediary between the current 4G and 5G, the next generation of networks that the wireless industry hopes to have running by 2020.

 


 The vice president of ZTE, Li Cui, said the plan is to build a research center and development of wireless technology in Tokyo by the end of 2015 and did not reveal how much you want to invest in Japan.


 


 The plan is to invest EUR 200 million globally in 5G and mobile communication technology between 2015 and 2018.

 


 “Our goal is to use 5G core technology in existing commercial networks … so users can enjoy the experience of 5G type ahead”.
