How should the ideal school for the future? What kind of education is the most appropriate for current social demands? These and other recent questions in education will be discussed at the 13th International Congress of Technology in Education. The event, sponsored by the System Fecomércio / Sesc / Senac, takes place between 23 and 25 September, at the Convention Center of Pernambuco, bringing the theme “Education, Technology and the School of the Future”. The conference will have international speakers, as American Brian Perkins, who will teach the topic “School climate”.
The target audience is professionals connected to the area, as teachers and educators, and is expected to receive this year, four thousand delegates from all states of Brazil and in the interior of Pernambuco, schools of public networks and private . The opening ceremony will be with one of the exponents of education in Brazil, Moacir Gadotti, who will speak on “Educating for another possible world”.
“The school of the future is not cookie-cutter. It is a constructive process that needs congregrar content to ethical commitment, the humanization of relations, personal differences and the use of new technologies, “explains the congress coordinator, Arnaldo Mendonça. During the event, there will be ten conferences, 20 simultaneous lectures and 16 mini-courses.
The three-day conference will address relevant topics such as “Ten key ideas for classroom management”; “Bullying and Cyberbullying.”
