Apple is the latest giant technological betting on the news distribution business. On Wednesday last, during the event which presented its new range of iPhones and iPads, the California company unveiled the application Apple News, which will be available articles from more than 50 publications, including The New York Times , CNN , Bloomberg and Reuters .
All items available in this application will be free for iOS device users and the application is already included in the next version of the operating system, which means that will reach millions of people.
This market is seen as risky because companies like Facebook have experience and success in this area. According to analytical company data Parse.ly , Facebook already drives more users to news sites than Google.

> There are fears that the partnerships between the media companies and large technology could affect the editorial lines, since in this new paradigm, newspapers and websites have to share its advertising revenue with companies like Apple, Google, Twitter and others.
Jonathan Hunt, vice president of marketing at Vox Media, told Mashable that the evolution of news for its digital form goes through this kind of agreement, “this is just a phase of evolution in consumer habits, with audiences to discover and consume new content.”
