In an interview with Sputnik World, Vasily Kashin, an expert on military issues, has revealed the details of this discovery.
According to Kashin, the technology may have great influence on the development of the Armed chinese.
“Today, the technologies of passive protection are more used than the active protective. The latest aim to muffle or hide the acoustic signals from ships, as well as creating interference in the detection systems of the enemy,” says Kashin.
According to the expert, the new technology is the fruit of research carried out in China in the area of communications and computing quantum.
Kashin points out that a submarine protected with this system of active protection is able to change the direction of sound waves which are reflected in its structure and ensure that these waves are not recorded by a station hidroacústica of the enemy.
Although this technology does not work against passive systems, she assumes a major breakthrough that may change in a radical manner the techniques of submarine warfare, believes Kashin.
The expert adds that the use of the new system of active protection will depend on its cost and ability to withstand extended operation in hostile environments.
Kashin concludes that the results of the tests of the technology can make the China to solve the problem of the insufficient capacity of its defence antissubmarina, which will have an impact on the development program of its fleet.
